Exploring the City with Brompton: PLOU

In June we started to explore the city in collaboration with Brompton Spain to bring you some of our favorite spots in Valencia (Spain) and others we are yet to discover! While you can check our monthly rides in our Instagram profile, in our Offprint journal we'll be updating our City Guide to keep a record in case you wanna check on it. Come with us and get to know the city a bit better!

Plou Estudi (plou meaning raining in Valencian) is run by Elena López Lanzarote in the heart of the Carmen neighborhood, next to museums and the Turia riverbed. There she gives ceramic classes throughout the year and also organizes exhibitions with local and international artists. In her space you can also find a little corner shop where to buy handmade ceramics and unique pieces done by her and her residents and artists that visit the workshop.

To the question: What do you love about living in Valencia? She answers: I really like the Turia riverbed. I think is the best thing of the city. So many things happen there during the day: people running, making exercise, just resting, people riding their bikes... I just love it.

You can visit Elena at Calle Corona 41. Check her opening hours beforehand and don't miss her exhibitions and workshops.
