Exploring the City with Brompton: NEWS&COFFEE

Back in September and while the nice weather was still going on, we went to continue our exploration with Brompton Spain and it's electric bike to our News&Coffee kiosk (yes! we run this kiosk ourselves!).

News&Coffee is a project that started in Barcelona in 2019 and which nowadays can be found also in Valencia, Madrid and London. It's aim? To bring back to life a piece of our cities which little by little has been disappearing: The Newsstand. Together with great coffee and other beverages to go and the most amazing selection of magazines and curated publications from all around the world. We are proud and happy of have been running Valencia's kiosk for about three years now and to have given the city such a nice spot to grab magazines and delicious coffee.

We ask Lula, our full time barista originally from Priego de Córdoba but who has been living in Valencia for more than 12 years what does she like most about the city: Since I moved to the El Carmen neighborhood, I really enjoy walking through its less crowded streets, where I can appreciate the architecture of its facades and how sunlight filters through the corners. I feel like I am reconnecting with this part of the city and rediscovering its charm.
